I’m Carlos Perozo, the proud owner of ZP Tax Inc.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I wanted to learn about taxes, so I took an income tax class in 1995. I soon discovered that many people required assistance with tax preparation, so I decided to work in this field.

From day one, I found the work exciting, which inspired me to go all in and get to the top. Therefore, I steadily grew within the organization and became the District Manager for one of the biggest tax companies in the United States. I also started to teach income tax which made me understand the industry’s pain points better.

In 2007, I got a calling to help those who were under-served by the Tax Preparation Community, which included the elderly. So I opened an office in Silver Spring, MD.

Since setting up my business fifteen years ago, it’s been a fantastic ride serving individuals and entrepreneurs in Long Branch and beyond. My motto is to do things “Fast and Right.”

Therefore, I always pay meticulous attention to detail, and I believe what sets me apart is my accuracy, efficiency, and integrity. It includes reliably providing clients with the most significant refund or the lowest tax liability that’s legally possible.

I also attribute my success to rendering a personalized service, as my goal is to earn my client’s trust so they can confidently sign their tax return. I recently prepared and explained a tax return to an eighty-three-year-old client, who mentioned that this was the first time in her life that she understood what was being signed.

As a result, it fills me with immense satisfaction when my clients’ are so happy with the quality of my service and that they refer their friends and family to me. Their loyalty has helped me to survive the pandemic, which is gratifying.

When I’m not analyzing financial statements, I love to travel to beautiful destinations to broaden my horizons. I also advocate for more stringent gun control laws.
